ABOUT
The Fort St. John Firefighters Charitable Society is a volunteer organization dedicated to raising money for the community. We are Fort St. John professional Firefighters who have served the city and surrounding area for over 45 years.
Our organization is run by 27 dedicated members of IAFF Local 2143. Our purpose is to provide financial support to local families, who are faced with costly medical travel, provide support to burn survivors through the BCPFFA Burn Fund, and assist local charities in Fort St. John and surrounding areas.
INITIATIVES
The Fort St. John Firefighters Charitable Society is in the business of helping people. The work we do in our community is aimed at providing a holistic approach to solving some of Fort St. Johns biggest challenges.
MEDICAL TRAVEL PROGRAM

The Medical Travel Program is a much needed program in our community; this initiative is helping people in and around Fort St. John in need of travel to and from medical institutions. It helps cover means of travel, accommodations and meals for people in need of medical assistance outside the city of Fort St. John.
BCPFFA BURN FUND

The Burn Fund focuses on helping burn survivors that have been through traumatic events as well as teaches burn prevention and education. This charity has a building for people that are from out of town, located close to VGH, that helps support people with emergency circumstances for medical treatment due to burn and major trauma injuries.
